Cacti Obsessed- The ME!

                 

                OBSESSED OBSESSED....Totally Obsessed!

I don't know how but I am totally in love with these little creatures and just can't hold myself to get all the available species at my home. So I dealt with this particular obsession by making mini drawings of these little babies.  

Thus back in November I started Calvember challenge in which one has to make watercolor miniatures throughout the month but somehow I couldn't managed to draw more than 7 to 8 drawaings, but sooner in the very next month  I started working on this theme on larger skill and completed my target. 

So Let's see how my colvember went :)

All these  drawings are within a diameter of less than 1.5"

What's New this November?

After INKtober Now WHAT?

Recently I played a guess game my Instastory about what I am gonna be doing this November and many of you guessed that it would be something related to cactus or dessert life...?

So yeah!

You all are somehow right but the actual task i'm doing this month is FILLING COLORS of Creativity TO MY NOVEMBER!

Colvember is all about choosing a Theme for your watercolor miniatures and gear up For 30 days, this November!

This time I decided to follow up this challenge only for 10-15 days (all depending on situation) because my November is fully packed up with the stack personal engagements So I thought of compensating these days by adding perky blogs with each drawing. 

As I am already into this process, all I started it by choosing theme "WORLD OF CACTI" and started making a drawing per day as well as collecting interesting facts about each specie. My focus is majorly on  such species of cactus which are not so commonly known or got some interesting facts like heath or beauty benefits or might got some fun facts.

So I thought why not explore these little spiny creatures...

Therefore, this November I'll be turning from an art blogger to health or you can say lifestyle blogger...Well just kidding!

In my Upcoming blog I'll be sharing about the most common cactus Prickly Pear.

Inktober Day one

As I already told you in my previous blog that I have been trying for months to get regular for SELF but something worst happened troubling me out everyime!
At last on 3rd of October, I gathered all my strength n decided to get along the new trend on instagram named INKTOBER! Found it quite interesting...So I quicky decided upon my theme n started a day by day task...

Though it was a late start yet it was fun participating in! So I just took my pen n sketchbook n started drawing...

My Inktober'17 Journey

INKTOBER

 31 days; 31 drawings!

Since the last few months I've been trying to follow up art challenges n trends but couldn't even make it. Started a 100 day challenge back then but failed to carry it even for 3 days... This time Inktober challenge was on spot!

So I thought to continue what I love and participated in INKTOBER CHALLENGE… 

At last on 4th day, I gathered all my strength n decided to get along this trend on instagram! Found it quite interesting...So I quickly decided upon my theme n started a day by day task...

It was a late start but I continued it anyways!

Inktober was all about my:

• Self-growth
• Consistency
• Developing positive habits
• Knowing myself

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY

• Making time for ME

All it started when I start realizing the fact:

Few of you have been following me on my Instagram account throughout this challenge so might have idea how I worked all along.

The fun part was exploring myself throughout the process, experimenting with sudden ideas and learning new dimensions. I kept sticking to my innate style with addition of BOTANICS (not my type) All I wanted to push myself up to something that is out of my comfort zone .  

Today it has been ended n trust me I’m feeling accomplished…
